General Information

Summary Paragraph

InsideOut Dad is an evidence-based parenting program designed specifically for incarcerated fathers. The program is designed to lead to the five characteristics that exemplify the traits and qualities of an involved, responsible, and committed father. These concepts and the content of the program focus on developing the following five characteristics: self-awareness, caring for self, fathering skills, parenting skills, and relationship skills.

Curriculum Purpose

To increase the proportion of children growing up with involved, responsible, and committed fathers. The program achieves this goal by equipping facilitators with the tools they need to help fathers increase their involvement, responsibility, and commitment to their children and the mothers of their children.
